Get What You Want Out of Life - Make It So!

I invite you to come sit by the fire with me. I have a powerful question to ask. Do you want more out of life? [big pause here] Yes? I know I do. I am sincerely curious . . . If you had an unbiased teammate to help you get what you want out of life, what would you want most right now?


I want to help people and nonprofit organizations turn their dreams into full-fledged reality. I enjoy Light Bearing Innovators who are here to overcome their challenges and fully embrace opportunities at home and at work. I help these innovators work in concert with a network of champions for desirable personal and professional experiences and vision-driven outcomes. I enjoy witnessing the absolute brilliance that rises from a reflective conversation and the inspired action that comes of it.


I also want to exercise in a way that is more like play. I enjoy ecstatic dance, free flowing with the music, letting my body sing the song. I also enjoy racquetball, but there are no courts here in my little city. I want a teammate to help me create that dream – my way to exercise and have tons of fun at it every day.


What do you want out of life that is not yet manifest for you? It could be as simple as stating your goals or you might have a bucket list. Is there anything in your life that is blocking your way? Do you feel ready to move from goals to accomplishments? Do you want to go it alone? Or would you prefer a teammate to support you in making your dreams a reality? Sometimes, we need help overcoming sudden or persistent challenges too.


Well, it might be a good time to call on someone built for that co-creation process. That’s what Life Coaches do! Coaching is about empowering people to come up with their own answers. Someone comes to a life coach to achieve a goal or to change, enhance, or improve some area of their life. Coaching takes the client from where they are to where they want to be.


Coaching is results-oriented and focuses on making changes in the present. The client develops a plan of action to move forward, and the coach holds the client accountable to follow through with that plan of action. During the process, common blocks and obstacles are addressed using techniques that are legally correct to do without a counseling license.


Here are 12 Common Life Issues that might prompt your deeper consideration about getting what you want out of life.


1. I would like to resolve relationship conflicts and challenges

2. I would like to improve or enhance my relationships

3. I’d like to achieve more of my goals

4. I need to move through a crisis, change or transition

5. I struggle with pleasing and taking care of others vs. pleasing myself

6. I feel overwhelmed, stressed or anxious

7. I feel stuck, going through the motions day in and day out

8. I need more joy in my life

9. I want to discover and live my life purpose

10. I struggle to find life balance

11. I would like to revive my career

12. I want to turn my dreams into reality


There’s more, of course, as many as there are individuals in this world. What do you want? What do you need? What are you willing to do to make your desires real? The next step is up to you. I hope you choose to take the opportunity to support yourself in becoming the person you really want to be.
